Social Media Marketing Essential 50 Sites

socialmedia.jpgSocial Media Optimization SMO is rapidly becoming as big a part of our daily marketing methodology mix as CPM, CPC, CPA & CPL. Social Media is a highly effective form of media that is soon to be as big as search, even possibly bigger.

  1. Very helpful list & I agree that SMO is quickly becoming a way to drive traffic in a way that search engines can’t match. If it is done correctly then you will notice the traffic is targeted and takes action.

Entering SMM is something that should be calculated, mapped and executed in a highly planned way. The results can easily become an exponential explosion of quality traffic… If you take the time to map your moves first.

  7. What a great, comprehensive and well rounded list. There are so many social networks floating around that it can be difficult to make headway. Thanks for the effort and time to formulating this post.

    Raiha

  8. FYI,

You should take Newsvine off your list. Advertising is strictly prohibited and users attempting to use the site in that manner have their articles and seeds removed and their accounts closed.

You want to discuss the news? Great. Head on over to Newsvine. You want to advertise? Forget it. It is absolutely not tolerated.

  9. also maybe something to watch as NICHE- SOCIAL MEDIA SITE for the fashion world trying to aim students and newcomers check out nineteen74.com

You bring up an interesting topic. the emergence of niche social networks… its going to be very interesting for marketers as we see these more focused communities emerge.

btw social media affiliate marketing on our Advaliant platform is growing faster than any other channel. this is due to the fact that marketers are learning how to effectively leverage this channel…

I believe that this is going to be a bigger channel than search in the not to distant future.
