SXSW Daily Diary - Monday
In yesterday’s update we saw a clear theme of empowerment in the web 2.0 space. We talked with many companies that are helping individuals express themselves through video, print, and photography. Today had a theme as well. It was about perspective in the social media space. How does your perspective change your approach to playing in the web 2.0 sandbox?
We were invited to the frog design studios on Congress Street. From there we headed to the convention center where we got a chance to speak with Avenue A Razorfish, Henry Grey PR, and SoSauce.
SXSW - Daily Diary - Sunday
Today was our first full day at SXSW. We spent most of it on the 4th floor of the convention center conducting interviews. We chatted with Blurb, Kyte.tv, iStockphoto, Utterz, and socialthing. One theme kept emerging - empowering individual media creators. Mainstream media no longer has a stranglehold on the dispersion of information. Whether it be television, radio, books, music or photography - there is a company out there that can help you make it happen on your terms.
SXSW - Daily Diary - Saturday
We’ve arrived at SXSW and started the week right. We met up with people from Federated Media, PC Magazine, Henry Grey PR, and Blurb. We kicked it at the frog design party and stayed out later than we should have.
